Acknowledgements

Particular support has enabled the award-winning Tangata Whenua: An Illustrated History by Atholl Anderson, Judith Binney and Aroha Harris.

The Books in School Libraries programme (and the ancillary BWB Texts in School Libraries) is one of the Trust’s key initiatives for the future.

The publication of individual titles is assisted by grants from a range of sources.

Continuous support from several donors has been invaluable, as independent publishing goes forward in a period of dramatic change in the industry.

The work of the Trust is sustained not only by financial contribution but also by wise counsel from many. The guidance of Hugh Rennie, the late Graham Langridge, and Jane Vesty of SweeneyVesty is particularly acknowledged.

Deaf Aotearoa, Perpetual Guardian (for the Stout Trust) and the Friends of the Turnbull Library Inc have provided valuable assistance for applications.

Expertise from Kitty Hilton, Kubé Jones-Neill and Angela Radford has contributed greatly to the Trust’s development.

The support acknowledged here includes some grants made directly to BWB as well as donor support through the BWB Publishing Trust.
